Carnival de Quebec 2011

Took a roadtrip for the weekend to Quebec City, just in time to catch the end of the biggest winter carnival in the world.

The falls never entirely freeze over. Mist that rises from the falling water crystalizes and falls back down forming a little snow hill at the bottom of the falls, known as a sugarloaf.

MFW 2011: Telio Competition

A couple of my school mates from Vancouver entered the Telio competition and ended up being the finalists. In total, there were 25 finalists, all had such creative pieces of work. The winner received a $3500 scholarship. And it was so nice to see my friend Earl win the title Canada's next breakthrough designer!

Congratulations Earl!

Look who it is? Saw Nico a year and half ago at Toronto Fashion Week but was unable to get a picture with him. This time, success!

Kanye West for V Magazine

Grazing the cover of Spring issue of VMan Magazine is Kanye West, one of the most controversial music and fashion icons of our generation. Here's the thing: it's not just Kanye being Kanye on the cover, but it's Kanye being photographed by Karl Lagerfeld and donned in Louis Vuitton.

Kanye has literally put his money where his mouth is; each issue of the magazine contains a real dollar bill! I want!
