Sweet Dreams

Designer: Tiina Anttila

Good night and lots of sweet & salty dreams.

Cuddle up and sleep tight.

Cappuchino Art

Last night I went to watch The Green Hornet starring Seth Rogen and Jay Chow. It turned out to be a really funny movie and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kato (Jay Chow), the master of making amazing cappuchino with his inventive cappuccino gadget inspired me to find all these cute cups with neat designs.

Waxed Creations

Ooh! I found another amazing artist: Pete Goldlust, who creates these delicate and inspring carvings from colorful crayons. How neat!

Freshly Baked Shoes

This is straight up like Willy Wonka but instead of chocolates, it's shoes. This new Barcelona-based shoemaker outlet, Munich Sports, is a playful fantasy where "freshly baked" sneakers are showcased on a network of conveyor belts. Like in the movie, this concept recreates a theatre of an exuberant, magical factory. This is an example of just how much fun you can have with retail spaces...

Lead Art

These intricate sculptures are achieved using the graphite found in the head of an ordinary pencil tip by miniaturist Dalton Ghetti. I read that he takes several years to do each sculpture, the pencils are occasionally put on display but are not for sale, and that he is a quiet, zen sort of guy.
His masterwork is such an amazement to me!

Barbie Heaven!

If I were Barbie, I would be the happiest girl in the world! She’s been given a whole new collection of 12 LBDs and 12 one-of-a-kind dresses designed by some Council of Fashion Designers America designers. Just to name a few... Isaac Mizrahi, Rachel Roy, Tory Burch, Jason Guinta, Betsey Johnson...
These dolls are currently being auctioned off on eBay with a starting bid of $100 and all proceeds are going towards CFDA initiatives and scholarships.

(no Asian Barbie...?)

If you're interested in buying the Betsey doll for me, here's the link to the auction. <3

Striking. Instinctive. Magical

I wish all photography had such gorgeous poses. So soft and graceful yet strikingly powerful.

Versace S/S 2011 Campaign by Mario Testino

Fierce but sensual. I am so in love with the Versace ad campaign by Mario Testino. This ad brings together the well-known Australian supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw as well as two blonde (and beautiful) male models for a classy yet sizzling campaign.

Glee for Sephora

Who's a fan of Glee? I AM!
Sephora has produced a limited edition nail polish collection inspired by one of my favorite shows, GLEE!
This collection will include seven shades:
Slushied (opaque blue), Hell to the No (bold purple), Gleek out (glittery lime green), Diva-in-training (poppy pink), Who Let the Dorks Out (peacock green), Miss Bossy Pants (rich raspberry), and Mash up (pearescent green-grey).

The collection is already in stores and will even be featured on the Feb. 8 episode of Glee. TOO GLEE-TASTIC!

Su Blackwell

Bedtime stories would've been my favorite time of the day if my books were like this when I was a little girl.

Paper sculpture by Su Blackwell.

Perfect Papercuts

These detailed & delicate papercut work by artist and illustrator, Hina Aoyama are just breathtaking.
They are super fine lacy paper cuttings done simply by a pair of scissors.
